A Family Legacy of Hard Work, Respect, and Service
We know your time is valuable — and that caring for your home shouldn’t be a source of stress. That’s why, for more than two decades, our family has dedicated itself to helping our Northern Virginia neighbors enjoy their homes without the hassle of yard work.
Our Story
In late 2001, Bob Hambleton saw something missing in the fast-paced Northern Virginia community he called home. People were busy, their schedules were full, and their weekends were precious. He knew his neighbors needed help reclaiming their time — and that’s how Hambleton Lawn & Landscape was born.
With the help of his sons and a borrowed truck from a good friend, Bob started small — out of his home — and built the business one yard, one handshake, and one relationship at a time. As the business grew, so did the Hambleton family and its impact. From the family’s home to a small storage facility near the Mosaic District, and eventually to our current office in Fairfax City, Hambleton became known not just for great lawns, but for genuine care and reliability.
For over 20 years, Bob poured his energy into building a company defined by humility, hard work, and honest service. After his passing in 2023, his sons — Joe, John and Rob Hambleton — proudly carry that mission forward.
“Dad was a hard working, faith-filled man who sacrificed to provide for his family. He started with just a handful of lawns in Falls Church and McLean, and with a strong work ethic and humble spirit, he continued to grow it into a multi-generational endeavor that touched the lives of many, and we strive to continue his legacy each day”.

Continuing the Legacy
Today, Hambleton Lawn & Landscape remains a family-run business, built on the same foundation of respect and reliability that started it all. Many of our family members still work in the company, and our commitment to serving our community has only deepened.
We strive to make lawn and landscape care pain-free and thought-free — so our clients can spend their time doing the things they love, with total confidence that their property is in good hands.
Our Core Principles
At the heart of everything we do are the principles that guided our founder and continue to guide us today:
These are more than words — they’re our way of life. They shape how we work, how we lead, and how we treat people every single day.
A Family Business with a Purpose
From our humble beginnings to where we are today, our purpose has stayed the same:
to provide exceptional, reliable service that makes life simpler and better for our neighbors.
We’re grateful for every client who invites us onto their property, and we’re proud to carry on a legacy of family, service, and community.
